Locum Tenens Mississippi hospitalists needed to help us cover 2-18 Locum Tenens shifts per month. Fast track credentialing and scheduling according to your availability. No l! ong-term contract! Let us know what days you are available and want to work. There are typically an equal number of weekday and weekend shifts available. You may be able to work any day of the week that you choose, work a single shift, or pick multiple shifts if desired.
This would be a great opportunity for you to supplement your income, make new contacts, maintain your inpatient skills, and broaden your experience. Whether you are straight out of residency, in a fellowship program, established, or "retired", you are welcome to check out this unique opportunity.
Shifts are either 6am-6pm, or 6pm-6am. See the patient, dictate H&P, discharge summary, consult, write orders, etc. See up to 20 patients per shift and up to 4 admissions. Experience with doing routine stress testing is preferred. Some of these duties will be divided with the "on-call" physician depending on the shift that you get. Competency in procedures such as central lines or intubation is a ! plus but not a requirement.
