Skipti Delivery Driver
Skipti is a software company that powers and manages delivery and pickup of rental items for several different equipment companies nationwide.
This contract (1099) position requires a driver to deliver and pick up both small and large/heavy rental equipment using their own insured pick up truck or van. Your own securing straps and a dolly are a plus but not required.
Professionalism and a service orientation are key requirements for this role.
Excellent customer service, time management and communication skills are a must. Our drivers are our brand ambassadors and we will count on you to reinforce trust with the customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To successfully deliver/pickup items within scheduled time frame
- Pick up and load large equipment from local stores and interact with local store staff
- Drive large items to local customer locations, unload large items and interact with customers
- Occasionally will load and delivery smaller items as needed
- Accurately obtain required signatures and photos on rental contracts
- Complete proper check-in and check-out procedures at equipment depot
- Learn and use app to manage inventory and routes
- Efficiently interact with customer service staff
KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS
- Current driver’s license
- Insured vehicle
- Must have Pick up Truck or Cargo van
- Ability to function in outdoor environment during all seasons
- Knowledge of the area and shortest routes to destinations
- Ability to properly load and tie down equipment for safe hauling and transport
- Maintain a professional image and a positive company image
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, co-workers and customers
- Must remain available and close to the store within work hours

- Reliable Vehicle 1997 or newer
- Ability to lift 45 lbs without accommodation
- Smartphone Android or iPhone iOS
- Ability to communicate via text and phone
- Availability for entire scheduled shift including some holidays and weekends
- Time management skills
- Follows company policies including safety practices
- Maintain safe driving environment including PPE( Personal Protection Equipment ) Masks where required
Must be eighteen years of age or older with a minimum of 3 years driving experience and legally permitted to work in the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED
Additional Qualifications
Safe driving record and acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong customer service mindset, including having worked in an industry or company that provides customer facing experience
- Adept at using handheld mobile application technology in order to properly document work performed

Pay: $15.00 - $39.00 per hour
