Performs specific and assigned tasks which are supportive of the nursing process for the care of the patient population. Demonstrates a caring attitude by practicing guest relations, promoting a positive, professional and cooperative work environment. Participates in establishing computer program teaching/learning needs of nursing personnel and provides computer education for new nursing department employees. Stays current and competent in your profession by attending in-service programs, and other educational opportunities.
Requirements
Requires current BLS, unit clerk experience and three (3) months experience in medical field. Prefer CNA certification. Medical Terminology Course and Medical Secretaries Courses preferred.
