Clinic Assistant

Description: Campbell Clinic is hiring Clinic Assistant right now, this vacancy will be placed in Mississippi. Further informations about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. To aid personal assistants and physicians in all aspects of patient care including, but not limited to creating and/or fitting orthopaedic devices and casts, and assistance with appointments.
Assists physic! ian in all areas of the clinic when necessary.
Calls patients from the reception area and obtains appropriate information to aid the physician in the treatment of patients.
Assist the physician and doctor’s assistants in answering phone calls appropriately while in clinic.
Performs suture removal, venipuncture and dressing changes.
Schedules patient’s test/surgeries appropriately, when necessary.
Assist in the checking of charts as needed.
Schedules patient’s appointments, when possible.
Applies and removes a small variety of casts, splints, and fits soft goods, and orthopaedic devices.
Prepares patients for casting procedures, explaining techniques to patient and/or parents.
Pre-cert surgery and tests for clinic physicians, when necessary.
Performs other related duties as needed or assigned by clinic manager.
This is a full time position at the Southaven clinic.
Required Experience
High s! chool graduate or equivalent
Completion of course for medical assistant or a minimum of one year medical experience in a clinical setting
