DVBE Technology Group is seeking a Project Manager located on the West Coast to work remotely and on-site as needed with our client’s PMO team in downtown Los Angeles. The position requires expertise with project scheduling using MS Project and JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint, along with a working knowledge of software development and agile methodologies. Must have a solution-oriented mentality with strong people and risk management skills,
Required Experience
- PMP with scheduling experience on ten million-dollar-plus software implementation projects
- Expertise in MS Project and project scheduling for large-scale technology projects
- Strong skills using JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint
- Team management and conflict resolution
- Risk, critical path, timeline, and task management
- Background building dashboards and executive reports
- Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Gap analysis and process improvement experience highly desirable
Responsibilities include:
- Workstreams
- Governance
- Risk issues/dependencies
- Monthly project management activity and status reports
- Updated business requirements and traceability matrix
- Conducting interviews and workshops with personnel, including preparation for such meetings.
- Providing project management activities including but not limited to coordination of meetings, documentation management, updates, follow-ups with team personnel on various project activities to track status, etc.
- Establishing draft documents and deliverables or sections of deliverables for review by leadership.
- Helping address client feedback on the deliverables to help ensure alignment with overall project success.
- Working under the guidance of the client and other team members responsible for the project.
