This role provides financial and analytical support to the Distribution Center(s) and the supply Chain organization. This role is primarily responsible for the integrity of the financial tr! ansactions and assets regarding the expenses and inventory of the Distribution Center(s).

The Corporate division is the central operating unit of the company setting strategy and policy and providing business development, finance, human resources, information technology, investor relations and legal support to the businesses. Company headquarters are located just outside of Philadelphia in Limerick, PA.
Position Description:
Ability to:
Comply with all corporate financial and accounting policies.
Analyze transactional data, draw sound conclusions, and recommend/execute effective courses of action. Manipulate and analyze large volumes of data with the use of Excel/Access.
Perform physical/cycle counts and reconcile accordingly.
Understand workflow between a WMS and ERP system, analyze and correct discrepancies with proper Accounting treatment
Prepare clear and concise! financial statements and reports.
Perform analytics ! with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively bring timely and accurate closure to issues/discrepancies.
Deal tactfully and persuasively with others in controversial situations.
Explain policies and procedures on a variety of issues relating to the adherence to proper accounting standards.
Month-end close, reporting, and quarterly forecasting and preparing Annual Operating Plan
Provide daily support to the Distribution and Supply Chain business partners as well as the Finance Director â" GSC.
Periodic monitoring of inventory-related transactional matters that may impact the financial integrity of the assets or our ability to effectively receive, order and ship product.
Periodic expense monitoring to insure that transactions are recorded correctly and costs are accurate.
Generate all cost and financial accounting journal entries for the financial close and prepare balance sh! eet reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze monthly results for reporting to the appropriate business leaders
Responsibility for supporting forecasting and budgets pertaining to inventory related matters.
Completion of various reporting requirements for month end and year-end as required by the monthly reporting package.
Ad-hoc reporting requirements and special projects as they arise.
Requirements:
Bachelors- Accounting & Finance
5-8 years experience
