FLIGHT MEDICINE PHYS! ICIAN
Professional Performance Development Group is currently interviewing for Flight Medicine Physicians interested in providing services at Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi.
HOURS OF WORK : Monday â€" Friday 0700-1700
THE IDEAL FLIGHT MEDICINE PHYSICIAN CANDIDATE WILL :
- Provide health care to beneficiaries assigned to the Flight Medicine Clinic, Occupational Health Clinic, or other civilian Flight Medicine physician positions. These tasks include performing primary care and occupational health clinician duties and the associated administrative tasks. Care shall include but not be limited to continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and provision of medical care, including preventive medicine, behavioral health, occupational health, and community health
- Diagnose and treat a wide-range of adult acute and chronic diseases and injuries.
- Perform medical procedures to include, but not limited to, t! he following: basic life support, advanced life support, simpl! e abscess incision and drainage, lumbar puncture, suture removal, and splint and stabilize traumatic injuries to extremities.
- Successful completion of a minimum of 3 years active duty U.S. military Flight Surgeon experience.
- Current board certification in Aerospace Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Preventive Medicine is required and must be maintained.
