Dentist - (Dentistry) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 12/02/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Correctional Facility in Natchez, MS looking for ! a general dentist to work temporary for 2-3 months and then become a permanent employee. This general dentist will be working in a 2 dentist clinic, 2 dental assistants, and 1 hygienist. You will be doing basic general dentistry to include fillings, extractions, and pain management. This correctional facility is a minimum security all male prison.
General dentists (locum tenens) diagnose, prevent and treat problems associated the mouth, such as plaque decay, cavities, and the repair of fractured teeth. They are usually the first point of contact for patients with oral health concerns, referring them to specialists such as endodontists when needed. Dentists are trained to use a wide variety of medical equipment, such as x-ray machines and drills, and are able to diagnose and treat a plethora of oral conditions.
Required Qualifications
The General Dentist will work 5 eight hour days Monday through Friday or 4 ten hour days Monday through Thursday. They a! re flexible on the schedule.
