Develops technological expertise with processes and involves human resources, systems, and equipment in increasingly effective patterns to deliver to the customer, in a timely manner, our products. Leads and facilitates multi-disciplinary teams for various continuous improvement projects.

Company headquarters are located just outside of Philadelphia in Limerick, PA.
Position Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates key team-driven, continuous improvement activities to minimize waste and improve service and quality.
- Manages budget control and direction for $50M distribution spend.
- Directs the organization's Distribution and Logistics planning or operating activities toward the accomplishment of organization objectives.
- Develops, creates, and recommends Distribution & Logistics systems and operating policies.
- Directs the Distribution of the organizations products at the lowest cost consistent with established specifications as to quality and compliance.
- Defines and recommends Distribution & Logistics objectives; dev! elops specific short and long range plans and programs together with supporting budget requests.
- Directs the preparation of specifications for quantity, quality, delivery and service required for the purchase of plant equipment, supplies and materials to meet operating schedules and quality standards.
- Ensures prompt and economical receipt of needed materials and supplies, and delivery of products to our customers.
- Formulates and installs standard Distribution practices based on comparative studies of methods, costs and service figures.
- Supervises installation and maintenance of all operating equipment used in distribution.
- Directs preparation of cost control reports, cost estimates and staffing and facilities requirement forecasts.
- Sets up and maintains inventory controls and levels to conform to budgets and forecasts.
- Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the organization in establishing and ca! rrying out responsibilities.
- Develops knowledge bases on distr! ibution technologies relevant to the needs.
- Serves as a resident expert to advice on distribution & Logistics capabilities.
- Maintains compliance with company policies, safety standards, good housekeeping practices, and GDP’s, ISO, OSHA, and other governmental regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Supply Chain or related field is preferred or equivalent industry experience.
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in Distribution & Logistics, with healthcare industry exposure is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience supervising exempt and hourly employees.
- Must have knowledge on Human Relations
- Analytical skills, leadership skills, and project management skills.
- System oriented and develop a working knowledge of the mechanics of technologies and pr! ocesses within his/her organization.
