Centerpoint Medical Center – Independence, MO RN Quality/Core Measures Coordinator - FT days Responsibilities: The RN Quality/Core Measures Coordinator collaborates with medical, nursing and other staff in design, implementation, analysis, evaluation of PI/Risk activities. Experience in Core Measures/Quality Measures and performance improvement needed, including abstract of charts for core measures. Effectively facilitates PI/RCA teams. Effectively communicates findings of PI/Risk activities to Medical Staff, leadership a! nd departments of hospital. Analyzes data and presents finding! in appropriate methodology for audience. Able to effectively abstract and analyze chart data for Peer Review activities. Collaborates with HCI and outside counsel to address risk management notifications and lawsuits. Works with counsel on discovery and depositions. Works with Meditech, Comet, and other data collection systems to gather valid data that reflects compliance with regulatory and national patient care standards. Data is entered on a timely basis and reports are run to aggregate findings and analyze trends. This is a FT day position. Five years of hospital experience required with a year of hospital Quality/Core Measures experience.
