Surgical Tech
Location: Jackson Mississippi
Description: St. Dominic Hospital is currently seeking to employ Surgical Tech right now, this position will be placed in Mississippi. Previous 1-2 years experience preferred but not required. Certification a plus.
Responsible for the care and safety of the patients under their care. Included within this assignment is the responsibility for organization and preparation of instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures, equipment/instruments and all aspects of infection control and safety. Pushes, pulls, moves, and/or lifts heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds), supplies and/or patients. Exposure to infection from diseas! e-bearing specimens, may be exposed to infections and contagio! us diseases.
