Description: St. Dominic Hospital is at present recruited Surgical Tech-Labor and Delivery right now, this vacancy will be dwelled in Mississippi. Previous 1-2 years experience preferred but not required. Certification a plus. Previous cardiac and/or venous experience preferred.
Responsible for the care and safety of the patients under their care. Included within this assignment is the responsibility for organization and preparation of instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures, equipment/instruments and all aspects of infection control and safety. Pushes, pulls, moves, and/or lifts heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds), supplies and/or patients. Exposure to infection from disease-bearing specimens, may be exposed to infections and contagious diseases.
