This position will be responsible for growth, development and physician contracting for St. Dominic's owned primary care and specialty physican network.Participates ! actively as part of the planning team to develop and implement the network development plan, and in network development activities including network marketing, practice acquisition, primary care and specialist physician recruiting and physician employment contracting Understands the latest legal, regulatory and accreditation trends and requirements relating to the ambulatory business and ensures that all 'network' strategies and activities comply. Anticipates changes in these requirements and prepares 'network' in advance to remain in compliance. Responsible for annual operational planning and budgeting processes to identify those initiatives that will support strategy and the implementation of tactics to accomplish the initiatives.
Makes recommendations for annual recruitment plan based on access issues and organizational strategy.Bachelor's degree and five years of operations management as an executive in ambulatory care or physican practice management required. ! Master's degree preferred. Previous contract negotiation exper! ience and business acumen skills are required. Proven track record of working effectively with physicians at all levels and good organizational skills required.About St.
