Openings: 1 Description Responsible for providing quality patient care following established standards. Assists Nurse practicioner, or doctors, RN and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access. Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.Graduate of an approved school for Medical Assistants.
Current Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant. Previous clerical phlebotomy experience preferred. Successful completion of St. Dominic Medication Administration Review and Examination within one month of employment.
Two years experience is preferred. Ability to make decisions and initiate action under stress and in critical situations. Current CPR certification. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
