Quality Assurance Technician

Perform inspection and test activities associated with the acceptance and release of components, sub-assemblies and finished devices governed by Standard Operating Procedures ! and/or Drawings. Also perform functional and dimensional evaluations for various groups within WCS and deliver documented results (for protocols, test request, etc.). This individual will have responsibility for recording data, notifying key personnel about nonconformances and reporting findings to Quality, Technical Services, Supplier Management, Marketing and Manufacturing representatives, as necessary.

The Corporate division is the central operating unit of the company setting strategy and policy and providing business development, finance, human resources, information technology, investor relations and legal support to the businesses. Company headquarters are located just outside of Philadelphia in Limerick, PA.
Position Description:
- Incoming inspection of raw materials and purchased finished devices.
- In-process testing of devices (during manufacturing, post sterilization, etc.).
- Co! mplete special projects as assigned by supervisor.
- As! sist with nonconformance reporting
- High School graduate or equivalent; 1-3 years related experience
- Use various pieces of measurement equipment ( Caliper, Micrometer, Scale, Comparator)
- Basic computer skills, (i.e., spreadsheets, word processing for report generation, etc.)
- Follow verbal and written instructions
- Blue print reading
- Reasoning ability, adapt to shifting priorities
