Responsible for carrying out routine first scrubbing assignments. Must have stron! g heart experience and be able to hit the ground with little o! rientation. Cardiac team experience REQUIRED. CV-CST Surgical Technician canadaite would have both strong scrub experience. 3+ years of Cardiac Certified Surgical Technician experience required. CVOR is required. Responsible for carrying out routine first scrubbing assignments. Must have strong heart experience and be able to hit the ground with little orientation. Cardiac team experience REQUIRED. Adherence to professional behavior a must in all interactions with patients, family, staff and physicians.
Performing established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients, utilizing ! age specific guidelines in a peri-operative setting. Competency in sterile technique, procedure instrumentation, and equipment.
Every other weekend and weekly call required. Also required to float into general OR if census and need dictates. Program reality is there are plenty of hearts to due.
