What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Manager, the Cleaner will be working alongside an experienced maintenance, housekeeping, and customer service team to support with upkeep in preparation for upcoming properties in the Ottawa market. In this role, you will focus on the following:
- Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing the vacation rental units, after guest check off, according to the work schedule provided.
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate (ex. toilet paper, shampoo, soap, etc.)
- Ensures company quality standards are met while completing digital cleaning checklists.
- Inform supervisors about upkeep statuses and issues found.
- Other duties as per requested.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 1+ year proven experience as Residential Cleaner or Housekeeper, preferably in our industry (hotels, Airbnb, short-term rental).
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent
- Other qualifications: Familiarity with PMS system (Guesty, Breezeway preferred), Slack. Available to work flexible shifts days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license. Fluent in both written and oral English.
