Certified Medical Assistant or LPN

Description: St. Dominic Hospital is looking of Certified Medical Assistant or LPN right now, this vacancy will be placed in Mississippi. Assists Nurse practicioner, RN and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient acc! ess. Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
Graduate of an approved school for Medical Assistants. Current Certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant. Previous clerical and/or patient registration experience preferred OR if LPN, graduate of accredited nursing school, must have current MS nursing license.
Successful completion of St. Dominic Medication Administration Review and Examination within one month of employment. Two years experience in a physician office setting is preferred. Ability to make decisions and initiate action under stress and in critical situations. Current CPR certification. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
