Surgical Tech

Description: St. Dominic Hospital is currently seeking to employ Surgical Tech right now, this job will be placed in Mississippi. Detailed specification about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Must be a graduate of an accredited surgical tech program. Previous 1-2 years experience required . Certification a plus.
Responsible for the care and safety of the patients under their care. Included! within this assignment is the responsibility for organization and preparation of instrumentation and equipment for surgical procedures, equipment/instruments and all aspects of infection control and safety. Pushes, pulls, moves, and/or lifts heavy equipment (up to 50 pounds), supplies and/or patients. Exposure to infection from disease-bearing specimens, may be exposed to infections and contagious diseases.
