The Clinical Dietitian will screen, assess and prescribe nutrition therapy as appropriate to patients who are undergoing MEDICAL weight management, pre-operative weight management, ! or post-operative weight management. The Dietitian will work in conjunction with the medical staff and all other relevant healthcare staff to provide high quality care. Models appropriate behavior expected of River Oaks Hospital and Health Management Associates that reflects commitment to the Performance Improvement (PI) Process. Maintains optimum quality and courtesy with physicians, Bariatric staff and patients.
Requirements
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, LICENSURE, ETC., REQUIRED :
1. Must be R.D. or R.D. eligible.
2. B.S. Degree from an accredited institution.
3. Knowledge and/or strong interest in the bariatric surgery process.
4. Working knowledge of computers, fax machines, and medical software.
5. Strong knowledge of nutritional concepts required
