Description:
- Prepare medicines according to physician request.
- Prepare joint/bursa aseptically and assist physician with aspirations/injections of joints/bursa.
- Performs dressing changes and staple/suture removal.
- Records appropriate clinical notes and maintains patient records.
- Schedule and pre-certify patient surgeries and procedures.
- Patient and family wellness counseling.
Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of orthopedic specialty experience is strongly preferred.
- Current Mississippi nursing license is required.
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
